Roland Walter is an independent photographer based near Zurich in Switzerland. From the early age of 12 he was fascinated by capturing the beauty of our world. So he picked up his first camera and started photography more than 40 years ago.
Roland loves to explore the world with his camera. "There are so many interesting things out there which are really a joy to look at. I just follow my intuition to take compelling images which show the beauty and intrinsic character of the subject. I like to share moments of everyday life which are usually not being noticed.", he says. Today Roland concentrates on his personal work but continues to take on assignments for commercial, documentary, editorial, and portraits.
